Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the brokeandbookish. This week’s topic is a Halloween Freebie. I have not read a lot of horror books so for this one I am going with Top Ten Horror books that i want to read soon.
- The haunting season by Michelle Muto:
I have this one on my kindle and plan on reading it in December when i am on break from school.
2. The Forest of Hands and Teeth (#1) by Carrie Ryan:
I don’t usually read a lot of books about zombies but it does sound pretty creepy.
3. The end games by T. Michael Martin:
This is another horror book about zombies that sounds really interesting
4. The girl from the well (#1) by Rin Chupeco:
I’ve been wanting to read this one ever since i saw it but my library doesn’t have it yet. I am thinking about buying it though.
5. the dead house by Dawn Kurtagich:
This is another horror book that I have seen a lot on Goodreads. My library does not have this book yet but they do have another book by this author so I may try it before I pick this one up.
6. It by Stephen King:
I have never really read a Stephen King book but i have this one on my list to read soon.
7. The Exorcist by William Peter Blatty:
I also have this one on my list to read although I probably won’t be able to get to it until next year.
8. The haunting of hill house by Shirley Jackson:
This is another book that I have been planning to read soon.
9. The strange case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson:
This book sounds like it would be really good for both the fall season and Halloween. I may pick this one up soon hopefully
So this is what I have for the Halloween season.
What do you guys have planned for the Halloween season. Do you have any favorites?
I would also love to read more from Shirley Jackson! I think I’m gonna start with The Bird’s Nest. It sounds REALLY GOOD!
Great Top Ten! 😀 My Top Ten Tuesday!

Thanks. I have never read a book by Shirley Jackson but I have heard that they are very good. I will have to see if I can get The Bird’s nest. I hope you enjoy it when you read it. 🙂

I’m a sucker for zombie stories so A Forest of Hands and Teeth is definitely on my TBR too. And I’ll probably read Girl from the Well this weekend. This is such a great list!

I’ve never read Stephen King either. I really want to though. It is also at the top of my list, or The Shining. So scary!
