This week’s theme is Top Ten 2016 releases I meant to read but didn’t get to (But Totally plan to):
I read an ember in in the ashes last summer and it became on of my favorite books of the year. I am hoping to read this one at some point this year hopefully.
2. Paper and fire (#2) by Rachel Caine:
I am a huge fan of Rachel Caine’s books even though I’ve only read her Morganville vampire series but I was very excited when i saw a new series coming out and it was really good. I wasn’t able to get to Paper and fire last year but I am hoping to get to it this year.
3. The mirror King (#2) by Jodi Meadows:
I wasn’t sure about The orphan queen at first but I did end up enjoying it and am looking forward to seeing what happens in this one.
4. The beauty of darkness (#3) by Mary E. Pearson:
I thought this series was very good even though it took me a while to get through the second book but I am looking forward to seeing how this series ends.
5. Starflight (#1) by Melissa Landers:
I haven’t been able to get this books yet but it sounds really good so I am planning to get it at some point this year.
6.Crystal Storm (#1) by Morgan Rhodes:
I still have read Frozen tides yet but it is on my list to read and I am really excited to see what happens next in this series.
7. The thousandth Floor (#1) by Katharine McGee:
I was really excited about this one but I wasn’t able to get it at my library last year so I plan on reading it this year at some point.
8. The black key (#3) by Amy Ewing:
I loved the first two books in this trilogy but I haven’t been able to get to this one yet so I am hoping to read it this year.
9. The crown’s game (#1) by Evelyn Skye:
I’ve heard a lot of good things about this book so I plan on adding this one to my TBR list this year.
10. Flamecaster (#1) by Cinda Williams Chima
I was a huge fan of the Seven realms series so i was really surprised when I saw a new book coming out. I will definitely add this one to my shelf this year as well.
What are some books that came out in 2016 that you want to read?
The Thousandth Floor is on my list too. Most of yours are sequels and I am notoriously bad at getting to sequels so I haven’t read the others either. My TTT
