It’s Monday! What are you reading? is hosted by Kathryn at the bookdate. This is where you can talk about what you have read, what you are currently reading, and what you are about to read.
This week has been pretty busy as I started school again and I also had a couple of doctor’s appointments which went well. I haven’t quite settled into a regular schedule yet but I have some online homework that I have to do this week so i am planning on doing those on Wednesday when I have about 4 hours between my classes. I have today off but I have to go back to work early tomorrow so I plan to work on another book this afternoon once i finish some reading for my classes.
What I read last week:
This was my first book of the year even though it was one I was working on from December and it was alright. I didn’t enjoy this one as much as I enjoyed the Selection trilogy but it is still one I would highly recommend.
This one was not that great but I am glad that I was able to finish it as it was a short read and it has been on my Kindle for a while.
This was alright. It did take me a while to finish but once I sat down and focused on it the story really picked up. I ended up rating this one 4 stars and I am thinking about continuing the series.
What I am currently reading:
I started this one over the weekend and it is okay so far. I am hoping to finish this one by the end of the week hopefully.
I am still slowly reading this one and decided to pick it back up again. I am going to try and see if I can finish it this month so I can start A storm of swords.
I got this one from my Overdrive account again as an ebook and am hoping to finis h this one in the next week or so.
Up Next;
I’m going to try and finish this book this week so i can take it back to the library when I go to pick up some books for my English paper.
This is another book that I haven’t started yet but I am hoping to start reading it later next week.
What I posted last week:
It’s Monday! What are you Reading? January 9, 2017:
Top Ten Tuesday – January 10, 2017: Top Ten 2016 Releases I meant to read but didn’t:
2017 Book review #1: The Crown (#5) by Kiera Cass:
Book Review #2: Planet Urth (#1) by Jennifer & Christopher Martucci:
I liked A Great and Terrible Beauty and The Iron Trial. I keep looking at A Darker Shade of Magic but have resisted adding to to my TBR pile until I lower the pile a bunch. You can see my week here. Happy reading!
