It’s Monday! What are you Reading? July 10, 2017:

It’s Monday! What are you Reading? is hosted by Kathryn at the bookdate. This is where you can talk about what you have read, what you are currently reading, and what you are about to read.

 

This week was a pretty quiet week as I just stayed at home and caught up on some books that were due back to the library. I did end up finishing all but two books that were later in the month. I also went to the library to pick up some more books that had come in and ended up coming back with 8 books. I still have to pick up one more as it came right after I stopped by the library so i am planning on picking it up on Monday.

 

This week looks pretty busy as I have some last minute things i have to do before I go to college in August. I also have a lot of phone calls to make this week and I am meeting with a friend for lunch as well. I’m hoping to read a few more books this week but I am not sure how much I will be able to do.

 

What I read last week: 

When we collided by Emery Lord:

I wasn’t really sure about this one at first but I thought it was very good (5 stars).

 

Hallowed (#2)  by Cynthia Hand:

I finished this one in just a few hours and thought it was okay. I am looking forward to seeing what happens in the last book though (4 stars).

 

Champion (#3)  by Marie Lu:

This one also took me a while to finish but I am glad I read it as it was pretty good. (4 stars).

 

End of days (#3) by Susan Ee:

This one definitely had a lot of action in it and I enjoyed most of the characters. Overall it was pretty good (4.5/5 stars).

 

 

Dreams of Gods & Monsters (#3)  by Laini Taylor:

This one was okay. There were times while reading this one where I could read through it pretty quickly and then there were other times where it was also a little slow. I am glad that I read it though (3.5/5 stars).

 

Noblesse: Season 1, Set  by Son Jae Ho: 

I thought this one was interesting at first but for some reason it took me a while to finish. I may continue the series later though (4 stars).

 

Talon (#1)  by Julie Kagawa:

This one was a little slow at first for me put it did pick once I got into it. I had mixed feelings about it at first but I did end up really enjoying it and can’t wait to pick up Rogue (5 stars).

 

Currently reading: 

 

I decided that for July I wanted to get caught up on some books that I hadn’t read in a while so I decided to pick this one up again after reading a few chapters and then not getting back to it so I decided to read it over the weekend. I’ve made a lot more progress than I thought  I would and it is definitely interesting. I should be able to finish it pretty soon hopefully.

 

I’ve slowly made some progress with this one but I am hoping to finish it at some point this week.

 

This is another one that I haven’t really read so I should be finished with it soon hopefully.

 

This is another one that I haven’t really gotten to but I plan on finishing it in the next couple of days or so.

 

I’ve been listening to this one this week and so far it is ok. I don’t really like the narrator that much but I am enjoying the story.

So this is what I have planned for this week. I have a few things that I have to do this week so I am not sure how much reading I will be able to do but I am hoping to read as much as possible hopefully.
