It’s Monday! What are you Reading? July 24, 2017:

It’s Monday! What are you Reading? is hosted by Kathryn at the bookdate. 

This is where you can talk about what you read last week, what you are currently reading, and what you are about to read.

 

I a lot of things to do later in the week, last week, but I did manage to read a few books that I have been trying to finish and they were pretty good. On Thursday I went to my aunt’s house so i could spend the weekend there and do some dorm shopping for the fall semester. I discovered that while making my list for shopping that i could get everything at Walmart so instead of doing shopping online first we decided to go to Walmart and try to get everything there. The only things that I didn’t get was storage since I am not sure what the room that I am staying in is going to look like yet.

This week looks a little busy but I am hoping to read some or all of the library books that I have this month. Today I am going to a church group with a friend and will also stay over at her house s=and then come back tomorrow. I also have a few anime shows that I need to watch this week as well and I plan on watching the new Yu-Gi-Oh movie as well.

 

What I read last week:

Alex, Approximately  by Jenn Bennett:

I thought this one was okay although it did take me a lot longer to finish it than I thought it would (4 stars).

 

Daughter of the pirate king (#1) by Tricia Levenseller:

This book was definitely my Favorite book of the year and one I would highly recommend (5 stars).

 

Crooked kingdom (#2)  by Leigh Bardugo:

I thought this one would take me a while to finish but I sat down one day last week and ended up reading the entire book in just a few hours and loved it (4.5/5 stars).

 

Currently reading: 

I have decided to pick this one back up again since i had to put it down to finish some other books that were due. I am hoping to finish it this week.

I brought this one with me over the weekend thinking I would read it but I never really got to it so I am going to finish it this week as well hopefully.

I have this one for a lot of challenges on Goodreads and have started it but have really gotten into it so i ma hoping to finish it this week as well.

This one is on my kindle and I have read a few chapters of it and am hoping to finish it this week so i can start on the next book.

So this is what I have planned for this week. I’m not sure how much reading I will be able to do but I am hoping to finish a few books.
