It’s Monday! What are you Reading? is hosted by Kathryn at the bookdate. This is where you can talk about what you have read, what you are currently reading, and what you are about to read.
Last week was a little busy but I did manage to get a lot of reading done and am slowly catching up on my currently reading shelf. On Monday I visited with a friend of mine who is also heading to college next week and I ended up spending the night and came back home Tuesday night. I spent the rest of the week watching a couple of anime shows and reading.
Today I am probably going to start packing for college since I am also heading out to visit my grandparents for my mom’s birthday which we are celebrating early because it falls on the same weekend that I am moving for college. I’m also planning on doing as much reading as I can between now and Friday night and will hopefully finish all of the books on my currently reading shelf so I can add some new books.
What I read last week:
Soul Eater Vol. 1 by Atsushi Ohkubo:
This one was interesting but just okay for me. I will probably continue the series later though (4 stars).
Sweet evil (#1) by Wendy Higgins:
This one took me a while to finish and I was definitely surprised by how much I enjoyed it and will definitely be continuing this series at some point (4 stars).
Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles Vol. 1 by CLAMP:
I think this one is my favorite out of all of the manga that i have tried this week and I can’t wait to see what happens next (5 stars).
The eternity cure (#2) by Julie Kagawa:
This one took me a lot longer to finish than I thought it would but I still enjoyed it and can’t wait to how this trilogy ends in The forever song (#3). (5 stars)
The world God only knows Vol. 1 by Tamiki Wakaki:
This one was okay. I may continue the series later but it might be next year before I get back to it.
The honor student at magic High school Vol. 1 by Tsutomu Satou:
This one was also pretty good and I look forward to continuing the series.
Currently reading:
I have started this one and it is interesting so far. I should be able to finish this one in the next couple of days or so.
I am not sure about this one yet as I have only read a couple of chapters so far but I am determined to finish it this week since i have to take it back to the library before school starts.
I found this one on sale last week at Amazon for the ebook and decided to go ahead and get it. I’ve only read a couple of pages so far but I do plan on reading this one this week and hopefully finishing it as well.
I’ve started this one and am not sure about it yet so I plan on reading it this week and will hopefully finish it before I go to school next week.
- I am also still reading The Martian by Andy Weir but had to put it aside this week in order to finish a couple of other books.
Up Next:
So this is my plan for this week. I am hoping to read all of these books but I am not sure how much progress I will be able to make as I will also be getting ready for college again as well.
