It’s Monday! What are you Reading? is hosted by Kathryn at the bookdate. This is where you can talk about what you have read, what you are currently reading, and what you are about to read.
This past week has been pretty busy so far as I have had a lot of reading to for classes and I’ve also started my research for my papers though I may still have to go to the library again to get some more sources. This past weekend was really busy as well. I spent the afternoon on Saturday doing some cleaning since it was raining and i was also able to get a little bit of hw done as well. I did manage to finish two books though I had to read one for a paper that I have in one of my classes. The weather this week has been really warm. We had 77 degree weather on Friday though it was really windy. It also looks like it is going to be pretty rainy this week but really warm.
What I read last week:
Quiet: The power of introverts in a world that can’t stop talking by Susan Cain:
I had to read this one for a paper where I had to turn off my social media while I read it. I wasn’t sure if i would enjoy this one but I really learned a lot about being introverted and while I knew some things there were still some ideas about being introverted that I didn’t know about as well. This is one that I would highly recommend (5 stars).
Frostblood (#1) by Elly Blake:
This one was also really good and I enjoyed it a lot more than i thought I would. This is one that I would definitely recommend as well (4.5/5 stars).
Currently reading:
This one is ok so far though I have only read a couple of chapters. I’m not sure when i will finish this one though.
I started this one last night and it is already pretty good so far. I’m hoping to finish it soon though I am not sure.
I’ve just started listening to this one and it seems interesting so far.
Up Next:
So this is what i have for this week. I don’t know if i will be able to finish any books as I have some research for 3 papers that I have to work on but I am hoping to make a little bit of progress.
I hope you guys have a great week!

Nice assortment of books. Good luck fitting in pleasure reading around school work. I have Quiet on my Kindle because it sounds interesting. Of course, it has been on my Kindle since 2014 so it must not be grabbing me enough. Thanks for reminding me that I have that book. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

Thank you! I actually read it when I was in high school a few years ago but it has been a long time since I have read it so i am rereading it for a few challenges on Goodreads that I have. 🙂
