Hello,
March was an extremely busy month but I also had Spring break so I was able to do a lot of reading as well. It’s also been really cold here lately except for a few warm days but I think the warm weather finally came back today. April looks like it is going to be another busy month for me so I am not sure if I will be able to read as much as I did in March but I am hoping to finish the Pretty little liars series since I am finally on the last book in the series.
Total books read: 14
Twisted (#9) by Sara Shepard
Ruthless (#10) by Sara Shepard
Stunning (#11) by Sara Shepard
Burned (#12) by Sara Shepard
Crushed (#13) by Sara Shepard
Deadly (#14) by Sara Shepard
I finally got to make some progress with this series over Spring break and it was ok. I think I think I like the first half of the series better but I am hoping to finish this series soon.
Betrayed (#2) by P.C. Cast – I didn’t really like this book that much but it was ok (3 stars).
Chosen (#3) by P.C. Cast – I definitely did not like this one and probably won’t continue the series. It did help with quite a few challenges that I have been working on though (2 stars).
The secret garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett – This one used to be one of my favorite books when I was a kid and while I did enjoy reading it again, I didn’t like it quite as much as I used to (4 stars).
Where the red fern grows by Wilson Rawls – The first time I heard this story I was in elementary and I have always wanted to reread it so I decided to pick it up over Spring break and it was pretty good (4 stars).
Rump: The true story of Rumpelstiltskin by Liesl Shurtliff – I wasn’t sure if I would enjoy this one or not, but once I got into it I was really surprised by how much I did enjoy it (4 stars).
The door in the hedge and other stories by Robin McKinley – I had a hard time getting into this one and was actually confused for the first few pages but once I got into it, the story picked up a little bit (3 stars).
Dark flame (#4) by Alyson Noel – I really liked the first two books of this series but it went a little downhill for me after the third one. I will continue the series but will probably use the audiobook version since this was easier that way (3 stars).
Toxic (#15) by Sara Shepard –
Overall, this month hasn’t been the best month for good books but I did make progress with a few challenges I have been working on in Goodreads and I am almost finished with a couple of series that I have been looking forward to finishing.
April is going to be an extremely busy month since finals are coming closer but I am hoping to at least make some progress with books I am reading if I don’t finish any. I do have some books that I am still reading and a couple that I want to start but I am going to do a tentative TBR this month instead of doing a definite schedule. I also have some eARCS to get to as well, but I probably won’t be able to get to them in May after my finals are over.
April TBR books I am still reading:
I will probably focus on these this month, though I do have just a few that I want to add.
Tentative April TBR list:
I’m hoping to eventually get to these books this month but I am not sure if I will yet. If I don’t start them in April I definitely plan to read them in May.
