This got out a lot later than I thought it would, but I did manage to post it. I’m working on getting the rest of my posts out this month but it might be a while before I am able to as the next few weeks leading up to Spring break in March will be pretty hectic. I’ve got projects, papers, and midterms coming up along with the usual amount of reading assignments that I have to do every day. I’m working on revamping this site though so hopefully I will be able to add in some new things. I’ve also been sick for the last couple of weeks and am finally getting over a cough I had during my cold. My schedule is different this semester as I have most of my classes on Tuesday and Thursday which is not my favorite schedule but its been working out lately. I spend most of my time holed up in the library and sleeping over the weekends. I have been able to pick up some reading here and there, and most of the books that I’ve read have been ok so far though I think January

I think this past January has been the lowest record of books that I have ever read at the start of the year. I”m not sure about that though as I don’t remember how many I read last year, but I think it is.. I read some good books even though I only read a  few. I’m not quite sure if I am in a reading slump or not but most of the books that I have picked up have just been okay so far. I’ve also jumped into the world of bullet journaling and am really enjoying it so far. I had a small notebook that I got for Christmas and decided to turn it into a planner, but I already had a planner for school so I”m still kind of working on that one. I did find a cheap dotted notebook on Amazon though, and I’ve turned it into my reading tracker. I loved having a smaller notebook to carry around instead of the 3inch binder that I have at home. I also want to revamp my monthly updates a bit and try something different since  I am now keeping track of my stats for the month. Its a work in progress though so it might be a while before I get used to a new layout.

Amount of books read this month: 5

Pages read: 1,877

My top favorite book was Bright we burn (#3) by Kiersten White (5 stars) – I really enjoyed this trilogy and was sad when I finished it. I loved the characters and how they changed throughout the books. I also loved the history and action in the story.

February TBR:

I don’t really have a TBR for this month either as I have a lot of projects and homework starting. Things are gonna be pretty hectic up until Spring break which isn’t for another 3 weeks or so. I have managed to read three books so far though one was for school and the other two were for some of the challenges on Goodreads that I am working on. I will post those when I put up my February Wrap-up later in the month. Right now I am reading about three books I think with some manga that I have picked up as well.

I”m a little hesitant about Dumplin’ as I’ve seen mixed reviews about it, but I am looking forward to finishing it though I finally picked up the cheerleaders and it seems really interesting so far. This is my first time reading a book by this author, and it is interesting so far. I also picked up the forest of a thousand lanterns. I’ve been reading a few fairytale type stories in my classes the last couple of days, so it’s kind of interesting that I picked this one up. I’m looking forward to seeing where it goes though.

I think I’ve read wanted though it has been a while if I did. I haven’t read any of the others before so hopefully, they will be interesting. I should be finished with them over the next week or so.

So this is what I’m reading in February so far. I don’t really have a TBR again this month as I have a lot going on though I do eventually have to start Hard Times by Charles Dickens next week. I’m hoping to have another post up later tonight and then I”ll try to have some more up by the end of the month and hopefully, I’ll be caught up by March.

I hope you guys are having a good week!
