Summary:

The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda Shofner and Kelly Rubidoux Apple. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, May 13th and runs through Sunday, May 19th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure. There are challenges, Twitter chats, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 25 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. – From the Bout of Books team

(I realized that I made an error with the dates in my Title for my post, but  it is fixed now).

Hi,

Today is my day off so I might be writing more than one post throughout the afternoon since I still need to catch up. I just discovered that Bout of books is this week and since i am not taking an online class this semester, I’d thought I’d go ahead and sign up since I missed it last year. I don’t have a large list of books to get through so right now I am just working my way through my library books that I need to get through. I might add a couple of ebooks as well.

Time frame: I”ll be working for most of the afternoon this week so I will try to read as much as I can in the evenings for about an hr.

Goals:

I don’t really have any reading goals for this week, but I do want to participate in at least one twitter chat during the week.

List of books:

  1. Lord of shadows (#2) by Cassandra Clare
  2. King of scars (#1) by Leigh Bardugo
  3. Windwitch (#2) by Susan Dennard
  4. Siren’s song (#3) by Mary Weber
  5. Airman by Eoin Colfer
  6. Jackaby (#1) by William Ritter
  7. The girl I used to be by April Henry

I don’t know if I will be able to get through all of these but I definitely want to get through most of them.
